What we collect
We collect account details, business profile information, showcase-page inquiries, messages you send through Fieldwork, and technical information needed to secure and operate the service. A showcase owner controls the business information and customer messages connected to that workspace.
How we use information
We use information to host and improve showcase pages, route inquiries, provide requested communications and integrations, prevent misuse, and provide support. We do not sell personal information or use client communications to train a public model.
Pilot applications and product learning
When you apply to be a Fieldwork pilot, we use your application to assess fit and contact you about that request. We record the consent choices shown with the application. If you separately opt in, we may use de-identified usage patterns and feedback from your pilot to improve Fieldwork. This optional consent does not authorize us to use your customer communications to train a public model.
Email and reception
When a visitor contacts a Fieldwork-powered business, we retain the message and routing data needed to show the conversation to that business. Automated replies are controlled by the workspace policy; manual replies are sent only when the workspace user chooses to send them. Users can remove or close business records from their workspace where controls are provided.
Conversation Center and communication choices
A recipient may receive a private Conversation Center link to review an inquiry, add a follow-up, and set communication choices for that business relationship. We record the choice, policy version, and time it was made. Optional text messages, assistant-assisted follow-up, and interest in other Fieldwork services are separate opt-ins. Operational replies about a request a person started may still be sent when needed to provide that requested service.
Connected services
If you connect Calendly or another service, we request only the permissions needed for the feature you approve. We store access credentials encrypted and use them to provide the connected feature, such as receiving scheduling events. You can disconnect a service by contacting us while self-service controls are being expanded.
Service providers and retention
We use service providers such as Vercel for hosting, Supabase for data storage, Resend for email delivery, and Calendly only when you connect it. We keep information for as long as needed to operate the account, comply with law, resolve disputes, and maintain security. We may delete or de-identify information when it is no longer needed.
Your choices
You may request access, correction, deletion, or help with a connected integration by emailing hello@fwsys.ai. Business owners are responsible for ensuring they have an appropriate basis to collect and respond to their customers' information.
Changes
We may update this policy as the service evolves. We will publish the revised effective date on this page.
